Your Rights and Options
Every individual has the right to receive confirmation as to whether the controller processes personal data concerning them. The data subject has the right to access their personal data (the right to obtain a copy of the personal data the controller holds about them) and information about how the controller processes it, as per Article 15 GDPR. The data subject has the right to rectify personal data concerning them if it is inaccurate or to have it completed if it is incomplete. The controller must comply with requests for rectification or completion of personal data without undue delay.
The data subject has the right to have the controller erase personal data concerning them without undue delay if one of the grounds listed in Article 17(1) GDPR is met (e.g., if the personal data the controller obtained about them is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed). The controller will assess this right of the data subject in light of all relevant circumstances in accordance with Article 17 GDPR (e.g., the controller will not comply with the request if processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims).
The data subject has the right to have the controller restrict the processing of their personal data if one of the cases listed in Article 18(1) GDPR applies. If processing has been restricted in accordance with Article 18(1) GDPR, such personal data may, except for storage, only be processed: a) with the consent of the data subject, b) to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, c) to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or d) for reasons of important public interest of the EU or a member state.
If the processing of personal data is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means, the data subject has the right to obtain their personal data provided to the controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transfer this data to another controller. Where technically feasible, they have the right to have the data transferred directly from one controller to another.
If processing is based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), the data subject has the right to object, on grounds relating to their specific situation, to the processing of personal data concerning them, including objections to profiling based on those interests. In such cases, the controller may no longer process the personal data unless they demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Whenever processing is based on your consent, as stipulated in Article 7 GDPR, you may withdraw this consent at any time.
